Janet, My name is Fan and my husband Carl was in a serious motorcycle accident almost a year ago. Several times during these past months you wrote a comment on our blog. It means a lot when someone who has "been there, done that" takes the time to offer hope and encouragement to others who are in the midst of their own storm. Thank you.
Last evening I was at a picnic with Linda Hershey, who rode bike with you last weekend. She said you are doing really well! We are happy for you, you have come such a very long way since your accident. It is evident that God's grace and strength have been very real in your life.
Carl would like to be able to get off all meds; so far that has been impossible. Did you try anything chiropractic or natural--or did time just heal you enough so that you no longer have to take drugs?
We would love to meet you someday and hear your story. It would also be nice to meet your husband, as he played the caretaker/support role which I can relate to. Our lives also change drastically when a catastrophic event happens to someone we love.
If you want to write back, you can comment on our blog at www.carlsmucker.blogspot.com or send an email to cfsmucker@aol.com.
I almost lost my leg and my life in a vehicle accident... and now I have a funky leg.

I write about having a healthy body, mind and spirit. I was born asking why and blogging gives me the perfect platform to do that. Since I love people, I also link to other stories that inspire me.
